Book #010
Today we went to Portland to have Christmas with Gordon's family; I made the book of the day in the car, from a tourist map of Mount St. Helens that I picked up when we stopped in Kalama for lunch. I tore the map into long strips and folded them in half. Then I took one of the strips and wrapped the folded edge to secure it. Well, it was a little more complex than that -- the wrapping was done with three different pieces of paper that interlock to make a pretty sturdy little spine. I'll try to get some pictures of that, too, so you can see. I plan to write an account of our day - in the book, that is - but right now I am going to bed.
